Trajecta vs · Collegize
Collegize bundles the application and the tests: essay and activities scoring, per-school chances, SAT/ACT/AP prep, and a hundred free calculators, at $19 a month or $89.99 a year at current offer prices. Trajecta is a connected counselor: direction, coaching, essays, the list, and a committee read of the finished file, at $249.99 a year flat. Breadth against depth, and the cheaper sticker is theirs. This page compares them straight.

Collegize descriptions below are from their own site, collegize.ai, retrieved on the date under the last panel. Their displayed prices are limited-time offers, so both the offer and list figures are quoted.

With Collegize
At retrieval, Collegize showed $39 a month discounted to $19, and $179.99 a year discounted to $89.99, behind a three-day free trial. Taken at the offer prices, the annual plan is the cheapest paid all-in-one in this comparison series, and cheaper than Trajecta Pro. That is worth saying plainly.
With Trajecta
Trajecta Pro is $24.99 a month or $249.99 a year, flat and published, with a free tier for profile building, the direction compass, missions, and college list organization. On sticker price alone, Collegize’s annual offer wins. The rest of this page is about what each dollar buys.
02
With Collegize
Collegize scores essays and activities to catch red flags, and shows your chances for each school. The model is check-and-chance: run the parts through the scorers, see the odds, fix what gets flagged.
With Trajecta
Trajecta’s essay feedback is inline and tied to the full profile rather than a scorer, and the odds question is answered differently: Committee Review stages the room itself, four officers reading the entire application, disagreeing in writing, and a chair resolving it into a decision with next steps. A flag tells you something is wrong. The room tells you what the argument about your file is.

With Collegize
Collegize includes SAT, ACT, and AP prep with progress tracking across 100+ skills. Bundling test prep with application tools in one subscription is the super-app bet, and for a family that wants one subscription, it is a real convenience.
With Trajecta
Trajecta has no test prep, full stop. Coursework recommendations cover which AP courses fit the direction, and the college list shows each school’s test bands, but drilling for the SAT happens elsewhere. If prep is a priority, that is a genuine Collegize advantage.
04
With Collegize
Collegize publishes about 100 free calculators and planners: GPA calculators, a class rank estimator, a course rigor evaluator, an NCAA eligibility checker, SAT/ACT converters, and more. It is a genuinely useful utility library, free without an account.
With Trajecta
Trajecta’s free layer is different in kind: 2,000+ public college data pages with each school’s Common Data Set factors, test bands, and essay prompts, plus a free GPA calculator of our own, and the free tier’s compass, missions, and list organization. Utilities against data plus a profile. Both free layers are worth using.

With Collegize
Collegize is ten-plus tools wide: brainstorming, essay review, activities, chancing, prep, and the calculator library, one subscription across all of it. The bet is that a student wants everything in one place.
With Trajecta
Trajecta is one system deep: the profile drives the compass, the compass drives missions and coaching, the record drives the list, and the whole file lands in the committee at the end. The bet is that the parts inform each other, so the essay feedback knows your activities and the committee knows everything.

| Test prep | SAT/ACT/AP tracking across 100+ skills. A real advantage. | None. Honest. |
| Honest limits | Displayed prices are limited-time offers, and breadth means each tool goes less deep. | Costs more than their annual offer, and preps no tests. A simulation is not a prediction, ours included. |
Both columns are honest. The limits row applies to us too.
03 · Credit where due
Two of these credits are things Trajecta simply does not offer, and the third is their strongest argument.
Test prep in the box
Application help and SAT/ACT/AP prep are usually separate subscriptions, and Collegize bundling them is genuinely convenient for families consolidating costs. Trajecta does not compete on this, and this page will not pretend otherwise.
The calculator library
A hundred free, no-account utilities, GPA, class rank, course rigor, NCAA eligibility, score conversions, is a real public service and a smart way to earn trust. Plenty of students will use those calculators and never pay anyone anything. Good.
The price, taken at face value
At the offer prices, $89.99 a year for an all-in-one toolkit undercuts everything else paid in this series, ours included. For a budget-first family choosing one paid tool, that number is a legitimate argument.
04 · FAQ
Collegize (collegize.ai) is a college application super app: essay and activities scoring that catches red flags, per-school chances, brainstorming and writing tools, SAT/ACT/AP prep with progress tracking across 100+ skills, and a public library of about 100 free calculators and planners. Verified against collegize.ai in July 2026.
At retrieval in July 2026, Collegize displayed $39 a month discounted to $19, and $179.99 a year discounted to $89.99, behind a three-day free trial. Displayed prices were framed as limited-time offers, so check their site for what is current. Trajecta’s prices are flat: $24.99 a month or $249.99 a year.
At the offer prices, Collegize: $19 against $24.99 monthly, and $89.99 against $249.99 annually. At their list prices the monthly flips ($39 against $24.99) and the annual narrows ($179.99 against $249.99). The scope differs too: Collegize bundles test prep, Trajecta goes deeper on counseling and adds the committee. Price by what you will actually use.
No. Trajecta recommends coursework and shows each school’s test bands, but it does not prep the SAT, ACT, or APs. If bundled prep matters, that is a genuine Collegize advantage, or pair a dedicated prep tool with whichever counselor you choose.
Depth over breadth: a direction compass computed from the record with evidence, weekly missions across six profile-strength categories, per-entry activity coaching with rewrites, a college list scored against each school’s Common Data Set, and Committee Review, where four AI officers and a chair deliberate the entire finished application and explain the decision.
Collegize offers a three-day free trial and its calculator library needs no account. Trajecta’s free tier has no time limit and no credit card: profile building, the compass, missions, and college list organization, plus the public college data pages.
Start free, build the profile, and see what a connected counselor does that a toolkit of parts cannot.
